Peta Peters is another in a long line of AILP, Australians I’d Like to Peta. The big-busted blonde has only been in a few movies, but they’re all the type of Down Under exploitation fare that gave that island country/continent the reputation of being a haven of paradise for hedonists. From her start in the comedy crime drama Number 96 that we thought was a dyslexic 69, in fact is a drama about a Sydney apartment block that led to another TV series based on the popular sexy film franchise, Alvin Purple. But it is on the big screen that she shines brightest. In Scobie Malone (1975), she’s sunbathing topless in front of a sign forbidding nude bathing. Rebel!
